“For God Loved the World”
John 3:16, 17 CSB
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Why belong to a church?
We are created for connection. Belonging to a church means being part of a spiritual home where faith is shared, burdens are carried together, and lives are strengthened through relationships.
Are Seventh-day Adventist Christians?
Yes, we are Christians. We believe in a God whose unfailing love and plan of salvation will soon restore our broken world, giving us new hearts and eternal life with Him.
What is the Sabbath?
We worship on Saturday, which we call the Sabbath. It is God’s gift for human flourishing—rooted in creation, affirmed by Jesus, and supported by science—inviting us to rest, trust, and find restoration.
What should I expect when I attend a service?
Walking into a new church can feel intimidating, but at Pioneer, our service is focused on hope, meaning, and real life. Sit wherever you like and participate at your own pace.
“Being transformed by Jesus,
our mission is to make disciples
who share His life-changing message
of salvation, hope, and final warning
with the world.”

There Is More to College Than Classes
The little church I grew up attending had, at one time, had a balcony. Over the course of time, they’d closed it off and turned the upstairs into two classrooms for kids (with a really steep stairway). I always thought it would be neat to sit on a balcony, so the first Sabbath I attended Pioneer, when I discovered the balcony, I proceeded to find a seat up there.
summer 2026 GROW GROUPS
A Circle Where You Belong
GROW Groups are Pioneer Memorial Church’s small groups community — spaces where people build genuine friendships, wrestle with faith together, pray for one another, and experience the kind of community that makes the Christian life actually livable. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, there’s a group where you’ll feel right at home.
